The trailer's ending gives us a glimpse at who could be the central antagonist of the storyline, as a dark figure covered in black goo rises from a pool as the drummers finalise their drumbeat. Speaking on the beings hitting the drums that set the atmosphere for the whole trailer, we have no idea who they are with nothing indicating where they are based or what their role will be in the main storyline. The Jedi feature in the trailer, with Grand Master Yoda being spotted in the Jedi Council room, two Jedi seen sparring across a bridge in what appears to be some form of training, and two Jedi igniting their lightsabers on a wintery planet as a horde of adversaries charge towards them. Developed by French studio Quantic Dream, Eclipse is set in the High Republic era of the Star Wars.
